Spikesafe DC Current Sources

The Vektrex SpikeSafe DC Current Sources provide reliable drive for LED / laser diode reliability, IESNA LM-80 test, and other current-driven test applications. Models support currents from 500mA to 60A and compliance voltages from 50V to 400V. All models feature individual channel control, precise current, and high power density — typically 6.4kW-8kW.

Spikesafe DC / Continuous Pulse Current Sources

The Vektrex SpikeSafe™ DC / Continuous Pulse (DCP) Current Sources provide reliable DC or pulsed drive for LED or laser diode reliability testing, IESNA LM-80 maintenance testing, and other test applications requiring DC or continuous pulse current. Models support currents from 500mA to 60A and compliance voltages from 50V to 400V. All models feature individual channel control, accurate pulsing over long output cables, precise current, precision pulsing for improved measurement repeatability, and high power density — typically 6.4kW-8kW.

Spikesafe Calibrator

Vektrex SpikeSafe Calibrator (SSCAL) modules ensure functionality and current accuracy. An easy to use software application makes available two modes: Check calibration and calibrate. Check calibration checks the accuracy of a SpikeSafe module comparing readings to a known traceable standard and verifying that each source channel performs over its entire current range. Expected and actual values are graphically displayed for visual verification. Calibration mode removes calibration inaccuracies that can build up over time assuring the SpikeSafe is ready to support present and future testing. Calibration factors are downloaded restoring the SpikeSafe module to its original factory specifications.
